Business Ethics Alliance to hold first, in-person event since start of COVID-19 pandemic

OMAHA, Neb. -- For the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic began, the Business Ethics Alliance is excited to host an in-person event. The Emerging Leaders Summer Speed Ethics Event will be held Thursday, June 17, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Corkscrew Wine & Cheese in the Blackstone District.

“Business ethics in the workplace is more important now than ever,” said Michael Robinson, Executive Director & CEO of the Business Ethics Alliance. The Summer Speed Ethics Event will provide Emerging Leaders an opportunity to dialogue about ethical issues because individuals make better decisions with ethics as a guiding principle.”

This is a high-value networking opportunity for young professionals to discuss important ethical topics with Omaha business leaders in a group setting. Members of the Emerging Leaders, a group of young  professionals who volunteer at the Business Ethics Alliance, will also be in attendance.

“We are super excited to kickstart the 2021 Emerging Leaders program at the Business Ethics Alliance  
in-person and outdoors,” said Steve Jerina, Chair of the Emerging Leaders. “The pandemic changed all our working lives, and ethics in the workplace are more important than ever. This is a great opportunity to talk about our new ethical challenges as we leap into the new normal.”
